The 50 mile cattle drive continues at the ranch we volunteer at in Wyoming every year, and we all become more confident with each new day in how the process works as well as how to actually move the cows whether on horseback, on a four wheeler or a side-by- side.
We are astonished at the things the girls are learning as well as the increase in their confidence levels on the drive and on the ranch.
When we left on this journey, we wanted the girls to:
1. Have experiences that would grow their self-confidence and enabled them to see that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to as long as they are willing to work hard 2. Learn the importance and value of giving back to your community and helping those in need
Seeing them grow through this experience reminds us that we have very few years left with them before they head on to find their own SOMEDAYS. We will do all we can to make this time with them valuable and memorable.
