We've had Chicago on our list forever! We wanted to have quick access to the city and there are not any RV parks near downtown. Thanks to a video from Gone With the Wynns, we discovered McCormick Place, a truck marshalling area where you can park your RV. It's dry camping only but with our new battery and solar setup, we knew we were golden. The weather was HOT and HUMID which did put a damper on our trip but we made the best of it and even took a day to explore our newest national park, Indiana Dunes National Park!
