Our New Rig!

Back in July we made a big decision. But, let me rewind a bit to just a little over a year before that.

We made our entry into the RV world in March or April of 2017 with a "hand me down" camper. It was purchased from my brother-in-law at one heck of a deal because it had sustained hail and water damage during severe weather a few years back. We jumped on the opportunity because we wanted to try our hand at RVing, but had never owned any sort of camper before. Our trailer was a 2012 Forest River 29BH and our children affectionately named it Sandy because of it's color.

After one season of camping with Sandy, that we stretched as long as we possibly could, we knew we were hooked on RVing. Every where we went, we fell more and more in love with the freedom and expereinces RVing could bring us. Even if we were just a few short miles from home, we were taken away from reality and allowed to have fun as a family...something it turns out we were truly missing. We used the RV every weekend we could and couldn't wait for a new season of RVing when winter hit.

Over the winter we began looking at newer RVs. We searched and researched for hours on end. We watched tour after tour on YouTube, looked at thousands of pictures and hundreds of floorplans and manufacturers. We attended RV shows and visited RV dealers when the weather was even remotely nice. We discovered that we had a brand we loved, because their products were high quality-you could tell a difference as soon as you walked in-and their customers were singing their praises. That brand was Grand Design...and when we saw the 2019 Reflection 312BHTS, we knew it would be an awesome fit for our family.

So, in July 2018 we brought home our 2019 Reflection 312BHTS and this is our story of bringing it home....
