Valentine's Day is a day for love, and what better way to celebrate than an adventure out on the open road. So we packed up our trailer and hit the road, heading to Columbus GA for a week of adventure, and trying new things.
We woke up on Valentine's Day to some loving chocolate covered strawberries and one of our favorite breakfast in out Trailer, pancakes. These weren't just normal pancakes, the were red, heart shaped pancakes. They we so delicious.
After breakfast we explored around the city. We found am amazing little tea shop, an old book store, a wine shop, and some amazing restaurants along the river walk. For dinner I ended up taking my beautiful wife out to an amazing farm to table restaurant called 11th and Bay. Dinner was an incredible 5 course meal and an outstanding wine selection. We followed up dinner with a local paint class which was super fun. The evening was complete with a stroll along uptown enjoying the gorgeous old town city scape.
It reminded how much fun it is to pack up, hit the road and explore this great country that we live in. There are so many places yet to explore. Let's see where our adventures take us next.
