We had a 1,000 mile drive ahead of us when we left Wisconsin Dells. The plan was to boondock outside of Theodore Roosevelt National Park but that didn't work out. The boondocking spot was full and an unexpected midwestern thunderstorm rolled through later that night. A nearby weather station clocked 77 mph winds where we were! We decided to head out since we couldn't extend our stay anywhere...
